The derailment of H19 happened at Talen Energy Brunners Island in the 1400 block of Wago Road, East Manchester Township, York Haven, multiple authorities from different agencies detailed.

The call to the derailment came into 911 at 5:23 p.m. on Thursday, according to the York County Office of Emergency Management.

Two cars derailed as the train was making a turn, they just "slipped the tracks, but it doesn’t appear they disengaged from the rest of the cars,"  Public Information Officer with YCOEM Ted Czech said.

Fire police were sent to the area to direct traffic, but no hazmat was called and no injuries were reported, Czech explained. All units cleared in about an hour.

Both cars were empty at the time of the incident, a spokesperson from Norfolk Southern told us.
